The purpose of this white paper is to explain the Xactimate line items RFGFLP, RFGFLP60P, and RFGFLPB.

These line items are entitled ‘flash parapet wall’, ‘flash parapet wall – PVC/TPO’, and ‘flash parapet wall – bitumen’, respectively. These items include a material and labor allowance in order to install a three-foot material width over the span of one linear foot.
The picture below shows that a 1 LF section of any one of these line items includes a material allowance of .03 SQ, which equates to 3 SF. One can conclude that within a span of 1 LF of parapet wall, only 3 SF of material is allowed. This creates the need to factor the item if parapet walls exceed the height amount allotted.
