Barb and Phil are owners of a custom single family home in Castle Rock CO that was damaged by a hail event on July 1, 2016. Farmers insurance prepared their inspection and estimated the damage to be $28,690.24.
C3 Group was retained on October 5th, 2016 who valuated the damage to be $91,322.23 following our inspection. C3 Group submitted our findings to Farmers Insurance, who denied reinspection. When we showed the multiple errors and omissions in the Farmer’s estimate, they agreed to meet with us for reinspection. Following the reinspection, the Farmers estimate rose to $60,251.41, pending stucco bids. Following the stucco bid from Farmers’ chosen contractor, the claim rose again to $116,085.38!
During the reconstruction, the insured and their contractor have discovered several supplements, including the need for additional funds for skylight replacement and window replacement due to hail damages.
C3 Group continues to work with the client ensuring that the reconstruction phase of the claim is properly documented to be submitted to Farmers insurance for payment, once the repairs have been completed.
