Our first annual Calm Before the Storm charity golf tournament was a HUGE success! We’d like to thank the players and sponsors who joined us and helped raise over $12,000 to help local children in need.
Storm restoration contractors are often portrayed as bad actors, especially by the media after a major weather event. Our goal in hosting this charity golf tournament was to bring restoration contractors and companies together for a good cause and show that they are committed to giving back to the local communities they serve.
We had over 116 players apart of dozens of companies and 9 industry sponsors that came together for this event and helped us raise a total of $12,164.16 for Ralston House, a non-profit that provides victim services for children who have been physically or sexually abused or witnessed violence.
While our goal was to raise as much money for Ralston House as possible, we feel much more was accomplished. This event brought people together and helped spread awareness of the Ralston House mission and the need for community support on a topic that is not discussed enough: child abuse.
“The entire team at C3 Group is truly honored to be apart of the storm restoration industry and be able to work directly with companies that go above and beyond to help those in need.” – Matt Behrens, VP, C3 Group
We’d like to also thanks our sponsors for helping us to make this event happen. Those include: Storm Ventures Group, Balance Claims, Hail Trace, No Time for Social, Owens Corning, Merlin Law Group, Mindiola Law Firm and Elite Roofing.
Because of the success, we are planning on making this tournament an annual event. Next year’s scramble will take place on May 21st, 2020 at Fox Hollow and we are hoping to raise even more money to support our local community. Stay tuned for details and updates!
